Edoverse is a virtual space where “Edo” exists in the modern world. Our goal is to build and to operate a metaverse that promotes understanding of Japanese culture and art, and solves the problems of educational disparity and poverty. The Game-Fi metaverse space is currently in the development phase and is scheduled to open to the public at the end of 2023.
Within the Edoverse space, you can create your own ecosystem using our own virtual currency, Zeni or Koban, with Daimyo mansions lined up around Edo Castle. People from all over the world will be able to enter their avatars, and can enjoy the city of Edo by playing games, going to concerts, buying things, and so on. In addition, while the Daimyo Mansion will maintain the Edo landscape, the new space outside will be a long-term urban development project that will take over decades to complete.
This new avatar NFT was officially produced by the Edoverse project. This is the first avatar NFT produced by this project. The Shinsengumi was a famous swordsmanship group at the end of the Edo period and is still very popular today. We have created two of the top swordsmiths among them. This work will be the only one and only avatar in the world forever in Edoverse.
In addition, users will be able to walk around freely in the form of their own character as a limited avatar in Edoverse which is scheduled to open to the public at the end of 2023. It will also be available in a beta version before the general public release.
Hero avatars in the Edoverse will be treated as a higher layer of existence, different from regular avatars, and will be entitled to various benefits after the Edoverse goes live.
5% of the winning bid price in ZENI will be granted by the Edoverse Foundation as a staking reward in each quarter until two years after the Edoverse launch. Granted ZENI amount will be assessed on the closed price at the end of the quarter in the global cryptocurrency exchange BITMART.
